About Us
For over 20 years, Mile Square Theatre has been a home for bold, professional theatre in the heart of Hoboken.
Our History
Mile Square Theatre was founded in 2003 by Chris O’Connor as a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to enriching the arts and cultural landscape of Hudson County and the greater New Jersey region.
In 2015, MST moved into its current home at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken — a 120-seat theatre with an on-site rehearsal studio. In 2018, the company expanded further with the addition of The Annex, a rehearsal and performance studio at 420 14th Street.
Today, Mile Square Theatre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution that continues to produce bold new work, engage the next generation through education programs, and serve as a creative home for artists and audiences throughout the region.
