We Have a Class for You!

Mile Square Theatre’s education program is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, inclusive space where artists of all ages can learn, be challenged, and grow. We make professional training accessible to artists of any skill level or ability through our commitment to working with a vibrant and diverse team of Teaching Artists who are actively working at high levels in the field. Here, taking risks and making mistakes is encouraged. Whether you’re looking for a place to prepare for Broadway, stretch your creative muscles, or connect with a local community of artists, we have a class for you.

MST Players - Youth 

4-18 y/o (beginner and advanced level classes)

Our MST Players classes are designed for young theatre-makers of all levels and abilities. In addition to producing wonderful student-centered shows in our summer program, we believe in teaching young artists the many different elements of performance in an environment where they are encouraged to deeply explore, challenge themselves, and grow. Here, students can learn acting, voice, dance, hip hop and beat boxing, improv, production, costumes, set design, playwrighting, and so much more. Our master teachers guide students in learning a healthy and sustainable approach, foundation, and technique, so whether they’re here for fun or they’re bound for Broadway, the journey of being a performer starts here!

MST Pros - Adult

18+ (beginner and advanced level classes)

Our MST Pros classes are designed for all levels of adult theatre-makers and storytellers. Whether you're an acting pro brushing up your technique or a retired theatre-kid looking for a creative outlet after your 9-5, we have a class for you. And if you’ve never stepped foot on a stage and are looking for a fun place to get out of your comfort zone, yes, we’re the place for you, too! Here, explore acting, voice, improv, monologue and speech, dance, and so much more. Because our teaching artists are both high-level artists and educators, we're able to offer classes to students who are just discovering their artistic voice and to students who are already experienced and on their way to Broadway and Hollywood... yes, really.
