Taught by Annie McAdams with Jasmin Casiano. "The Murderous Mrs. Maisey". Mrs. Maisey, an aspiring comic in the 1950s, is forced to leave New York after her husband disappears and she is suspected of his murder. To escape the press, she ends up living in his childhood home with his mother and grandmother on the coast of Georgia. A pair of female private detectives try to enhance the reputation of their agency by proving Mrs. Maisey's guilt or innocence. The class will culminate in a performance on the MST stage.

Taught by Annie McAdams & Jasmin Casiano. This class for teenagers develops the basics of stagecraft—beginning with improvisation and games and moving into scene work. Students discover how to use themselves, their experiences, and their imagination to bring a character to life. In an atmosphere of creative self-discovery, students learn the preparation and discipline necessary to work in professional theater. We’ll also work on audition technique and cold readings. Class will culminate in a workshhop presentation for family and friends. Please bring a monologue to your first class.
