ABOUT RICHARD MASUR: Richard Masur (Bernard) is recognized for many roles over his 45-year career. On series such as ‘The Hot l Baltimore,’ ‘One Day at a Time’ and ‘Rhoda’, and more recently, ‘Transparent’, ‘Girls’, ‘Younger’, ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Orange Is the New Black’ and ‘Chicago Justice’; over 40 TV movies and miniseries such as ‘Fallen Angel’, ‘Adam’, ‘The Burning Bed’ (Emmy Nomination), ‘It’, ‘And The Band Played On’, and ’61*’. He has appeared in more than 60 feature films, including ‘The Thing’, ‘Heartburn’, ‘Risky Business’, ‘My Girl’, ‘License to Drive’ and most recently ‘Tumbledown’ and ‘Don’t Think Twice’. Some of Masur’s stage work includes—on Broadway: ‘Lucky Guy’, ‘Democracy’, and ‘The Changing Room’; Off-Broadway: ‘Sarah, Sarah’, ‘The Ruby Sunrise’ and most recently, ‘Fetch Clay, Make Man’. His short film ‘Lovestruck’, which he wrote and directed, was nominated for an Academy Award. He was also nominated for a Directors Guild of America award for his direction of the TV movie ‘Torn Between Two Fathers’. Since 1989, Masur has served his unions, Screen Actors Guild and SAG-AFTRA, as Committee Chair, Board member, Vice President and two terms as President of SAG. He has also served his fellow actors for several years on the Board of Trustees of the SAG Pension & Heath Plans and the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan. He is married to actress and attorney Eileen Henry.
