Accessibility Statement and Services

Mile Square Theatre hopes to provide the utmost experience possible to all participants, whether on the stage, behind the scenes, or in front of the curtain.

To that end, MST is fully committed to ensuring that accessibility requirements and guidelines as set forth by the federal government and state of New Jersey are implemented in a timely and efficient manner. MST has been and will continue to be responsive in making the arts accessible for all people.  MST will continue to provide appropriate support, infrastructure and programming where needed for all artists, designers, and patrons to be able to participate.

All entrances to the building and theater are accessible, as are all public restrooms. A wheelchair accessible path to the theatre’s seating area briefly goes through our backstage area. For safety, our front of house staff will escort you to your seat through this entrance.

The entire front row of the theatre is wheelchair- and scooter- accessible. All seats can be removed so the patron can remain in their wheelchair or they can transfer from their wheelchairs to a theatre seat if desired. Accessible seating can be purchased online.

Large print playbills are available at all main stage performances. Large print programs may be obtained at the performance from the box office or house manager.

Assistive listening devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. A limited amount of ALDs will be available at every mainstage performance and can be requested from the box office at arrival.
